Inside Genetics Fitness Club at Warners Bay you can find Verve Physiotherapy, headed up by Claire Walshe who is passionate about her commitment to healing the human body.

She has dedicated over nine years to higher education which has given her qualifications in Nutrition, Physiotherapy and most recently her Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy.

She is the head physiotherapist for the Australian Paralympic Swim Team and prides herself on her dedicated hands on approach to healing. Her special interests include soft tissue massage, dry needling, pre and post pregnancy exercise routines and dealing with sporting injuries of all kinds.

Claire has a great approach to injury management with her main aim being to get you back to your pre-injury health as quickly as possible using fundemental nutrition priciples, yoga-based stretching and functional/specific exercises.

Claire also has a special interest in Yoga and is currently studying to become an Iyengar Yoga instructor. Her extra-curricular activities with the Paralympic Team have also given her great skills in dealing with athletes with disabilities and she is very passionate about teaching this group of amazing individuals a vast array of movement strategies to aid their function.

She is closely aligned with Genetics Fitness and can therefore help you enjoy the benefits of a “personal training” type recovery which can ultimately lead you to improved health and vitality.

Verve Physiotherapy is a division of Verve For Life which also incorporates Verve Personal Training, run by Claire’s husband Nathan Walshe.
